Description: At Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE), theory is brought to life and reinforced for students through extensive integration of laboratory experimentation. Understanding theoretical concepts and knowing how to apply them is key to the success of MSOE graduates. For more than 100 years, MSOE has provided a climate for students to become well-rounded, technologically experienced graduates and highly productive professionals and leaders. MSOE offers a personalized education with an 11-to-1 student-to-faculty ratio. Students gain invaluable experience through more than 600 laboratory hours, professional internships, international study programs, and work in the Applied Technology Center(tm). MSOE's Technology Package provides all new students with a notebook (laptop) computer. MSOE is an independent university with about 2,400 students. MSOE offers 16 bachelor's degrees and six master's degrees in the engineering, engineering technology, architectural engineering and building construction, computer, business and health-related fields.
Directions: * From the North - Take I-43 south to downtown Milwaukee; then take Hwy 145 East, McKinley Exit (exit # 73 A) - exits from the left lane. Continue east on McKinley for five blocks. Turn right on Broadway to the specific building or parking lot desired.* * From the South - Take I-94 west to downtown Milwaukee; then take I-794; exit Jackson/Van Buren (exit #1-E).* * From the West - Take I-94 east to downtown Milwaukee; then take I-794; exit Jackson/Van Buren (exit #1-E).*
* In each instance, proceed north on Van Buren Street 7 blocks to State Street; turn left. Follow State Street to the specific building or parking lot on campus.
