Description: Since the University’s inception as a teacher-training school in 1871 to its stature today as a premier comprehensive institution, quality and innovative higher education have been hallmarks of UW Oshkosh’s success. For 30 years, the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh's Center for New Learning has been building degree programs and educational opportunities that fit into the lives of adult nontraditional students.
Located on 164 acres in beautiful Oshkosh, WI, the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh boasts 57 undergraduate majors, 17 master’s degree programs and has current collaborations with many Wisconsin Technical Colleges and UW Colleges.
UW Oshkosh sponsors one of the world’s largest annual Earth Charter community summits, which promotes ecological integrity, social and economic justice, and democracy, nonviolence and peace. UW Oshkosh has won more Regents’ Teaching Excellence Awards than any other UW institution. Five individual faculty members and three departments have received this award.

Directions: FROM APPLETON, GREEN BAY AND OTHER POINTS NORTH: Take Highway 41 South to Exit 119 (Highway 21). Follow Highway 21 East (also known as Oshkosh Avenue) to High Avenue (first stoplight after crossing the Fox River). Turn right onto High Avenue (a one-way street) and travel five blocks to the UW Oshkosh campus. Parking with a permit is permitted in any Staff/Commuter Student lot or in the Visitor lot (Lot 32). Lots 7 and 32 are easily accessible from High Street.
FROM FOND DU LAC, MILWAUKEE, AND OTHER POINTS SOUTH: Take Highway 41 North to Exit 119 (Highway 21).
