SEWEC Scholarship flyer
Congratulations on continuing your education! The goal of SEWEC is to help adult students realize their options for higher education in Southeast Wisconsin at member institutions. We understand that cost may be holding some applicants back from being able to achieve their educational goals, which is why we have created two $1,000 SEWEC scholarships to be awarded to one undergraduate and one graduate student. Best wishes on your future, and thank you for applying for the SEWEC Scholarship.
- Applicants must be at least 24 years of age.
- Scholarship award is contingent upon being admitted as a new student to an undergraduate or graduate program at a SEWEC member institution.
- Two $1,000 scholarships (one for undergraduate and one for graduate studies) will be paid directly to the scholarship winner.
- Applicants must submit application and essay via the online form included below. Submissions made in any other format will not be considered.
- The Deadline to apply is August 16, 2010.
- Recipients will be notified within four weeks of the application deadline.
- Recipients must provide SEWEC with a statement to be used for future marketing purposes.
- All applicants must complete the scholarship application and submit an essay of no more than 500 words.
- The essay must include the following information:
- a. What is your motivation to attend school at this time.
- b. What do you plan to do with the degree once you graduate.
