Founded in 1865, Ottawa University is a non-profit four-year liberal arts college affiliated with the American Baptist Churches, USA and the Ottawa Indian Tribe. Ottawa's educational mission incorporates both a residential campus in Ottawa, Kansas, and non-residential campuses in Overland Park, Kansas; Arizona; Brookfield, Wisconsin; Jeffersonville, Indiana. The residential campus primarly serves traditional age college students while the non-residential campuses and center are degree completion and master's level programs designed to meet the specific needs of adult learners. Ottawa University also has an online division serving all 50 U.S. states and the international community.
The mission of Ottawa University is to provide the highest quality liberal arts and professional education in a caring, Christ-centered community of grace which integrates faith, learning and life. The university serves students of traditional age, adult learners and organizations through undergraduate and graduate programs.
